Textbooks: Executive Directive 2026/31
Executive Directive 2026/31 of 26 September 2026 sets aside at least IS 41 million to print textbooks for the public schools over the next four years. What it means:
- The ministry prepares a printing programme for 2027 to 2030 and submits it with next year's budget.
- A commission chaired by Dinara Seitkulova, head of the curriculum section, reviews the curriculum and the books now in use.
- Every new title passes an expert review before copies are ordered; authors and manuscripts are chosen by competition.
- Each copy carries a code naming the district, school, class and pupil it is issued to.
Authors: the competition for manuscripts for grades 1โ4 (Iradi language, mathematics, the world around us) will be announced on this page. Schools short of books: ring the curriculum section, +996-39-2-23-15-20.
