The first quarter ended on 31 October. Autumn holidays are from 1 to 8 November; the second quarter begins on Monday 9 November.
Public schools still have vacant teaching posts, most in mathematics, physics, English and the primary grades, and most in the districts. Teachers who take a post in a district school receive a housing allowance. See Vacancies.
The 24-classroom school is the twelfth school or kindergarten completed this year. Eighteen more are due before the end of December.
About 400,000 pupils went back to the public schools of the Zone on 1 September.
The results of the National Graduation Test 2026 are published by the Education Quality Agency on e-Irad, by candidate number and by school.
